Hotel znakomity, blisko do Dakaru i innych atrakcji. Jeśli chodzi o wycieczki, to świetnie je organizują chłopaki z plaży Pako i Emilio oraz Malik, można zobaczyć to, czego nie zobaczy się z okna autobusu na pewno i można im całkowicie zaufać.

Rooms The rooms were clean but housekeeping was a little hit and miss. New towels were often given, but dirty ones left in-situ. Face cloths may be 1, 2, 3, or even none, depending on the day. Water replenishment was much the same, hit and miss. Restaurants The main buffet restaurant was fantastic, with a variety of hot and cold foods of all types. All dietary requirements were catered for. The Asian restaurant was mediocre, and nothing to write home about. The Italian restaurant was good, but nothing standing out as Italian. The seafood was on a par with the main restaurant and very good. The Steakhouse Grill was a complete let-down, and it being the only a la carte restaurant on site. It had only a couple of choices for mains, and the starter and dessert were set (no choice at all). We had surf and turf, and the steak was tough and inedible. The prawns were okay, but that's about it. A wasted evening really. Entertainment The music around the pool is so loud that it is difficult to find a quiet area, even down at the water's edge. The evening entertainment was very mixed, and sometimes started very late. General Public Areas These were always kept very clean and tidy. Health & Safety This is a topic often overlooked at the hotel. Children are allowed to roam all areas on scooters, bikes and trikes, including e-bikes, without any supervision or regard to other peoples safety. We saw at least 5 incidents where children almost caused a serious accident with people with mobility issues, and their parents where nowhere to be seen. This was reported to Customer Services on at least 3 occasions, but no action was seemingly taken. Pools The pool at the so-called quiet end of the complex (opposite villas 5 & 6) should be made adults only. There seems to be no escape from children, especially those shooting up and down the wet slippery areas on bikes etc. Staff The vast majority of staff we met worked very hard and always offered to help if required. The management do need to get out and about and see for themselves the reckless behaviour of some of the children, and address the issues, else they may have an expensive lawsuit on their hands. Smoking There needs to be some clear signage where guests can smoke, and exclude them from all other areas. Many people were disregarding the rules, even in the restaurants, and supervisors were not taking immediate action. Locality The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, with not much to see or do in the immediate locality. You are hotel bound, unless you pay for trips out and about. We tried the Bandia Reserve and the Seashell Island trips, and enjoyed them both.

Amazing food, people and hotel. After being a little nervous of this new destination I was so pleased to see how beautiful and welcoming Senegal was. A lovely country where the locals are very engaging. The hotel is well designed, nothing is too far away but you can always find a quiet spot. The larger quiet pool is rather cold but refreshing. The animation team are probably the best I have ever met. Never pushy but always friendly, the midday water aerobics was always well attended. The food is excellent, lots of various cuisines with lots of choice. The themed restaurants were a very nice alternative, perhaps a little more training for the serving staff in the Steakhouse would be a good idea. The weekends have an influx of locals which can make it more lively but there is always a quiet spot if that's what you like. The weather in March is great, hot during the day but cool and pleasant in the evenings An excellent place to relax.
