We spend 3 days at Hyatt Regency Phuket and really love it! Our 2 bedroom family room is spacious and overlooking the sea. Bed is so comfy and clean. Casa Boho is really nice for sunset. I personally like the bar upstairs , recommend to go up and have a couple of drinks ;). Marine Biological Center is one of the favorites activities for our kids. Hyatt Camp is good too. Special shout out to chef bank at Mizu for a very entertaining night at Tepanyaki restaurant.

Gorgeous experience! I was staying in the hotel with my husband for about a week. I would like to highlight a few of the most memorable moments about our visit. Breakfast - absolutely one of the best I have ever had at any Hyatt or any other hotels. Plenty of fresh fruits, juices, smoothies. My husband didn't skip a day without a plate of passion fruits. I appreciated the selection of cuisine: one day I would try Thai, another Indian, European. The variety didn't make me bored of the 'hotel food' for the whole week. Beach - a hidden gem! First, I was disappointed by seeing the beach at the low tide time: brown rocks along the beach line, stoney path that leads who knows where, not so many people swimming for an obvious reason. Next day changed everything, when we met Marat - the Hyatt Marine Biologist. We took a morning 'Marine walk' and that's where the whole adventure began. Morning walk was a low tide time - so we could walk along the stoney path and learn a lot about marine life. I didn't pay attention to it before but with this walk I noticed how many creatures were right here around my feet. Marat is a very nice, kind person and a very knowledgeable specialist, who has been studying marine biology since his high school, so believe me you can learn a lot from him! We decided to stick to the Marine center for the whole day. After the morning walk we visited the marine laboratory located at the hotel to learn more about starfish life, a shared class with kids and other adults. Evening was the best! We returned to the beach when it was at high tide, put on our snorkeling gear ( btw the hotel provides very good quality masks) and took that stoney path that leads actually to the coral reef! WOW, what a beauty! So many different types of fish and colorful corals, it was just a spectacular experience! Other things that we enjoyed greatly were the wonderful massages provided by the spa, the friendly team that shuttled us to our room each day and the Hyatt lounge zone with beautiful views and a good selection of drinks and snacks ( it was also a good place to do some work because it was quiet).

Fabulous hotel with very attentive staff and a great feel. Only things to be careful of is the mark up on what you think you are paying for accommodation as 3.7% gets added at check in. Just think that should be communicated prior to booking. Also, I would not bother booking rooms with a plunge pool as the water is too hot to use, day or night. The humidity at the time of year we went did not help (may be better at other times of the year, we were there April 24) so just something to be aware of. Great shuttle services to Kamala Beach and Patong and the food in the hotel is excellent. Staff give off a great vibe and overall a very good hotel.
