Cook's Club Calvia Beach Adults Only +21

Food was amazing could not fault it. Few issues that we wasn’t happy with. Firstly we payed more to have a later flight on our check out day but was unable to use the wrist bands on our last day and also had to check out by 11am. No poolside DJ , not even speakers were on during our stay here so very disappointing as they advertise poolside dj and it being an adults only hotel vibe you’d think there would be some sort of music on after all we’re in magaluf aren’t we. Location is brilliant but the hill up to the hotel is a challenge let me tell you and if you’re in a wheelchair I wouldn’t even entertain this hotel if I was you. You don’t even get an iron in your room! You can hire one but it’s gonna cost you €10 deposit and then €3 a day everyday you have it. The Bar staff are great and the cocktails are amazing I must say but overall felt disappointment after our stay. 3/5 ⭐️

Great hotel, clean, plenty freshly cooked food at reasonable prices. Half board option was great, food served until 10pm. Plenty sunbeds, nice pool, no poolside music but that didn't bother me. Rooms cleaned regularly and poolside towels for a deposit is a great idea. Well located next to various beaches and restaurants/bars. Room windows blocked out any street noise so I didn't find it noisy and I slept very well all week, which is unusual for me when I'm away. The air con definitely helped there.

Me and my friend stayed here for a week girls holiday. The hotel was fantastic! We were worried the photos and reviews were going to be too good to be true but no! The hotel is spotless, staff are friendly and helpful and rooms are modern and a good size. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of choices. The pool areas are great, plenty of sunbeds and 2 pools - one large one and a smaller one that normally wasn't as busy. The hotel is in a great location - 2 minutes from the strip of bars/discos but also only 5 minutes to the beaches of Magaluf and Palma Nova. We were worried we would hear a lot of noise from the strip or that it would be a loud and noisy hotel but we had no issues at all! The hotel overall has a chill vibe. The hotel is up a bit of a steep hill but it's short and I wouldn't let this put you off staying. There is a shortcut to the strip/Magaluf beach if you turn left out of the hotel and follow a winding path, takes 2 mins to get there and you avoid the steep hill! Would absolutely stay here again and would definitely recommend it.

A really nive hotel. A beautiful and quiet pool area. Fantastic breakfast table and a delicious a la carte menu for lunch and dinner. Very smiling and helpful employees did their part to ensure that we had 14 fantastic days. We will gladly come back another time :-)

This was our second visit to Cook’s Club Calvia Beach and I totally recommend it. This year we felt it had a much more mixed age range than previous which was nice to see (I’m 37). The hotel is extremely modern and clean, staff are always polite and attentive. The manager is always around and not just sitting behind the scenes. The half board concept is brilliant and is really what drew us back here, breakfast is included…and is a delight, so much to choose from, then you get €18 credit per day on a wrist band which is also the key to your room. This is enough for a meal and a drink each day. The food is very tasty and fresh and the portion sizes are huge, the cocktails at the pool bar are fab and the list to choose from is extensive. It is just a shame the inside bar at night isn’t able to make the same ones. Location is great as you have the choice of a 5 minute walk to the strip if you’re looking for a party/dance or a 5 minute walk the other way to lovely beach front restaurants and bars. Although the hotel is only a 5 minute walk to the strip you never hear anything, it’s very surprising but pleasant. It is a shame there is no music at the pool area during the day, and I also feel they have so much open space such as the lounge area and inside bar area they could make use of, some live music or something a couple evenings would just be the cherry on the cake. I would recommend paying the extra for the pool view if you like to use your balcony, otherwise you are over looking a roof and the hotel next door. All in all a great hotel and I would return.
