Właśnie kończę tygodniowy pobyt w tym hotelu . Jestem pod ogromnym wrażeniem jak piękny hotel to jest ( a nie jedne zagraniczne wakacje za mną ) przede wszystkim ogromne podziękowania należą się panu z recepcji EZZET !!!, od pierwszego dnia pobytu dbał aby wszystko było jak nalezy, pokój który otrzymałam był cudowny , widok bezpośrednio na morze i baseny , Okna dźwiękoszczelne (. Nawet jak na dole jest muzyka nic nie słuchać ) ba przywitanie kwiatki na łóżku , czyściutki codziennie pani dbała o porządek ! , w restauracji jedzenie bardzo smaczne , woda na plazy przezroczysta, mięciutki piaseczek , jeśli chodzi obsluge baru tu kolejne podziękowania dla pana Karim z beach baru, zanim się pomyśli drink lub napój czeka już na stoliku . Hotel w pełni zasługuje na swoje 5*

We enjoyed a wonderful week at the Royal Azur and would not hesitate to recommend to family, friends and to stay again. The communal areas of the hotel are smart, stylish and as with all all aspects, spotlessly clean. The staff are welcoming and polite, especially the staff of the main restaurant and the excellent Mr Lofti! We found the quality and variety of meals to be excellent. Fresh fruit and crepes for breakfast, a great range of salad options of lunch and a great variety for dinner including sushi, grilled fresh fish (sea bass, sea bream, king prawns), steak, pasta and pizzas and local cuisine. The poolside areas and gardens are beautifully maintained with ample numbers of comfortable sun loungers, lovely gardens and flower beds and superb sea views across the infinity pool. This was our first visit to Tunisia but based on this experience, we will definitely return. Some earlier reviews have posted adverse comments in respect of food, our experience was completely the opposite. Accepting one man’s meat can be another man’s poison, we can only assume most recent comments arose during Ramadan when things are definitely quieter. We arrived during Eid and had a wonderful time. We did eat in the Kasbah restaurant and the food and service was not as good as the main restaurant and probably wouldn’t recommend this. We have seen reference in other reviews to tipping staff. We did tip where deserved and this was greatly appreciated by the recipient who would go the extra mile. But we are talking less than the price of a cup of coffee in the UK. But this does not detract from what would be an all round excellent service anyway. Tunisia is not a wealthy country and areas outside the hotel and surrounds are not what you might see in other European winter sun resorts. But it is rich in its history, culture and the warmth and friendliness of its people, something which money cannot buy!

We went here on our Honeymoon for 9 nights and had the most wonderful time. For us it was the staff members that made it so memorable. From our arrival late on a Thursday evening we were greeted so well by Sabar and taken to our room which was a lovely room where we were told we would be moved the next day to a better room as this one did not have a balcony. Which we were and it was a great room with a fantastic balcony and view! Every breakfast and lunch we were looked after amazingly by Lotfe who could not do enough for us from having our table ready when we walked in with what drinks we wanted already poured along with fresh water always waiting for us, he was fabulous. At dinner every evening we were looked after very well by Zohair who again always had a table and our drinks ready. They were both so incredibly kind and hardworking. we also want to mention Mohedine who was on the main pool bar. Very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. Next to mention is Wissem T. Wissem works in the main bar and a,ways made sure our glasses were never empty. He always had a smile on his face and even when popping by the bar in the afternoon after a day of relaxing, would get us some drinks and some canapés, which were a lovely added extra and made us feel that extra but special. We would also finally like to mention the customer relations manager, Zainab. She couldn’t do enough for us, to make our honeymoon special. She deserves credit for the way she does her job. So to sum hotel was perfect for us. Amazing beach and pools. But for us it was the staff inside the hotel who made it special and memorable for us. We definitely made the right choice. Lots of amazing memories made.

From the moment we arrived it was smiles all around, not just from us but from every member of staff we encountered. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was plentiful although I must say if you want a Full English breakfast then this is not the place for you, lots of sweet things for breakfast and very continental. We had a small issue but it was very swiftly dealt with by the fabulous guest relations manager Zainab! This lady is amazing and was always on hand to assist. The best barman (for cocktails) was Oussema. Spectacular views from our room overlooking the sea. Rooms were modern, bright and well maintained and cleaned daily.. The hotel has a very relaxed vibe and is not a full on party vibe, so again if this is what you want perhaps not right for you. Great time was had by all.. My partner and her 2 daughters (13 & 17) Until we meet again Tunisia you have been awesome!

We had a good week here overall, but with a few caveats. Firstly, some staff are excellent being friendly and helpful (most waiting staff, housekeepers), some only give good service for a tip, and others are simply disinterested (pool lifeguards and female receptionist). The food is lovely and we always found something good to eat. Yes, some of it could be warmer, but there is always freshly cooked hot food as well. A la carte Restaurants are good but disorganised. The thalassa spa is disorganised with unfriendly staff, absolutely not worth the money. Finally, double check that you are actually getting a ground floor room if booking a bungalow! The first floor bungalows are not as they appear in the brochure. The hotel classify these as bungalows - buy they're certainly not how most would describe them! It is an easy walk to the medina. Sellers can be quite pushy but not too bad with a firm, polite "no thanks". There are restaurants and cafes around the area which looked good though we didn't try them. We would not return, mainly because there are other places to explore.
