Yes! This Spa is 10 out of 10! Intimate and respected hotel! It’s worth it - we were happy!
We wanted a nice get away location from the U.K’s cold and damp March weather and chose Djerba in Tunisia having been to Morocco many times we fancied something different. Tunisia is similar but quieter than Morocco, which was just the vibe we were looking for!
This hotel is a wise choice in Djerba / the spa in the hotel is 10 out of 10 - it’s really, really chic, clean, well presented and has multiple massage and treatment rooms, pools, baths, saunas and gyms for you to use over your stay! This actually really surprised us and we were sooooooo glad we chose this hotel for this!
As for the hotel, it’s designed well, albeit can be a wind trap by the pool if there are strong winds, albeit when the heat is beating down on you from the N African sun, can be a welcome poolside chill down needed!
The rooms were OK, it’s stated as a 5* but some maintenance is needed in the rooms to compare with European 5* hotels, but understandably it’s Tunisia and the €£$ needed in investment may not be there, I’m sure Radisson’s owners are aware if this / they are not bad rooms, very clean, just some painting and the odd fixtures and fitting repairs required - we were happy with the room overall, all have balconies, can smoke in and out of the hotel if you wish too.
We had a few issues with hot water not being available 1 day, however the hotel could not do enough to keep us happy!! We were so pleased with the Radisson service from Laurent the hotel manager and from Fathaid in reception (she really did care about our stay) as they gave us free spa vouchers and cocktails to make up for the few small things that happened.
For the price, this is an amazing spot and great value, the drinks and food were not expensive and the service was 5*
Thank you Radisson Djerba, we enjoyed our stay! To travellers thinking about this place - yes, book it! It’s nice and intimate and you will be relaxed, massaged and treated well.
