Me and my Boyfriend have just stayed in this hotel, which was beautiful but there were a few down sides to our visit which we weren’t overly impressed about seen as it’s a 5 star hotel. Firstly, we arrived into our room which was stunning!! However, we found that there were lots of bugs in our room, we got them out but they kept coming back meaning we couldn’t have our patio door open which still didn’t stop them from coming in. We reported this but nothing was done about it. Secondly, we found that the toilet seat was broken so every time we sat down we would be sliding around. Not what you want in a 5 star hotel. Also we booked for a double room so we could share a bed together (because if we didn’t want to do that we would have got a twin room) however we found we had two single beds pushed together which meant we had to sleep separately and if we rolled over we would find ourselves down the crack between the beds!! After getting back from a long day out at the beach, we just wanted to have showers however our room had been cleaned with fresh beds sheets but no towels so i had to go to reception to ask for more towels which is inconvenient when you are covered in sand and just want a shower. During our stay here, the hotel must of had a sewage problem because it absolutely stunk everywhere and you could only get away from the smell inside your room or 100m down the road from the hotel. Very off putting when you’re trying to have breakfast and that’s all you can smell if you want to sit outside and enjoy the lovely views. Every room has a mini fridge however it isn’t restocked everyday like it’s meant too. We had to ask for it to be restocked when we have to pay for it. We asked for this multiple times and it didn’t get done. Overall, we’ve had a lovely time here in tenerife and this is a lovely hotel, just a shame about the negatives there were during our stay. The views are lovely from the hotel…. Only a short walk away from the shops and restaurants and the beach. We used the electric scooters which were everywhere to get around so affordable and good prices to get around to different places quickly!! so much cheaper than a taxi. The pool has a lovely atmosphere, very peaceful and relaxing. Always lots going on in the hotel to get involved with e.g. aqua fit, aqua bike etc. We only had breakfast but there was a massive selection to choose from, cooked, continental, waffles, pancakes, fruit, free from section which i have never seen in a hotel before, juices, coffees, milkshakes. Definitely head down to Fañabe beach where there is lots going on with loads of restaurants, bars, beach bars and sunbeds. We went to an activity centre where we booked loads of activities at affordable prices and they are so helpful. We went to siam park, Loro parque which is quite a journey but definitely worth it, jet skiiing and quad biking. Definitely some great things to do!!! Thankyou Melia x

Back from two weeks at Jardines. Been here maybe ten times and been happy. But not any more. We booked junior suite with b & b. There is a new management and a lot of changes , some good, some not. We are platinum members and entitled to level services. We did like the level breakfast, it is better than earlier with a lot more options for self service. The room ´upgrade´was room 407, in the same floor/corridor with the maintenance staff and (understandable) caused some noise every now and then. Furthermore people could walk pass by our patio, so no privacy. The cleaning was very good and so was the air con. As platinum members we have always been entitled to a bottle of water as daily service. This time, not! It was really confusing when I asked about this, the guy at level reception looked surprised and said that he will sort it out. Nothing happened, so I wrote an email, got no answer. After that I wrote again stating that a simple no is OK, the silence not. Then I was told that it does not include in the service but the manager will make an exception - well one day we got a bottle and next, not - so random service! It is a pity but we feel that we won´t be coming back again. If you really cannot afford a bottle of water for platinum members, maybe you should think again . You have some wonderful members in your staff, i.e. Julian at level breakfast is extremely efficient, professional and friendly. Hope you understand to appreciate his work.

This hotel is incredible. The pools are beautiful. The staff are second to none and everything you could hope for is provided in a great abundance. Probably one of the best hotels I have ever been to. Angelica who runs the restaurant is absolutely wonderful. She endeavours to get people the best seats and any requests given were fulfilled. Angelica was polite, charming and always made my girlfriend and me feel welcome. The food is sensational and the service is impeccable. Angelica greeted us with a warm smile and her attention to detail cannot be faulted. Nico, Felipe, Ramon, Jorge, Beatriz, Domingo, Adrian, Layla, Carlos and the entire staff were so accommodating and wonderful. Every staff member went above and beyond. Truly one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had! The room was perfect and regularly cleaned. The front desk was so efficient in responding to requests and providing us with information. The lady in the gift shop was also fantastic. This winter sun experience was perfect and I will certainly be coming back. Absolutely no complaints and only heaps of praise.

We stayed here for 7 nights, mid-November 2024. We were only B&B so can't comment on All Inclusive and we didn’t upgrade to The Level. We did eat in the restaurant on our first night because we arrived later, were hungry and it was convenient. It was a bit pricey but very nice food, plenty of choice. Breakfast was lovely every morning, again plenty of choice. I even managed to have a glass of Prosecco which was readily available each morning – never done that before! Breakfast was quite busy each morning, but I think the staff did really well keeping items topped up. Our room was great, very spacious, a Junior Suite, plenty big enough for us. Very clean, serviced every day. The layout of the hotel seemed strange at first, but we got used to it. It’s built into the hillside, so lots of steps even in the hotel complex. Our room was on Level 4, Reception/Restaurant/Bars were on Level 5 and the main swimming pool was down on Level -1. Lifts available though once we worked it all out. Lovely pool, didn’t struggle to get sun loungers. I loved the entertainment! Daytime activities if you wanted – aqua fit, aqua jumping, aqua running in the pool; yoga, Pilates, stretching exercises and even some dance workouts if that’s your thing; some craft sessions as well. Two musical sessions each evening. We only got back in time for the second sessions after our meal, but different acts each night – and by 9:45pm we were up dancing to them every night, and the (small) dance floor was full – fantastic! The staff throughout the week were great, so pleasant, friendly and helpful – they all worked really hard to provide the best experience! A general observation. The location of the hotel was very good, near Playa del Duque, about 30 mins drive from the airport, at the other end of Costa Adeje, nice quiet area, away from the main centre. The hotel is built into the mountainside so it's a steep incline up from the main road, about a 15-20 mins walk down to the main bars and restaurants. Restaurants we went to and enjoyed were The Moon, El Gran Sol, La Farola del Mar, Spanglish, Bombay Babu and Marietta. Bear in mind the walk to the main area is DOWNHILL, and it's a very, very steep walk back UP. We used to walk to the Plaza del Duque shopping precinct and get a taxi up to the hotel, only about 4 EURs - worth it! All in all, a brilliant week away to celebrate a special milestone birthday. Never been to Tenerife/Costa Adeje before, definitely going back at this time of year, weather was still very warm, 25-26 degs daily, perfect! We were spoilt by this hotel though, which was more expensive than we would normally pay, but I’m sure we’ll find some other accommodation at a more affordable price for next time.

First to compliment the staff….a credit to the hotel. Some of the names we remember - José, Felipe, Angelika, Claudia, Miriam…. All so helpful and friendly. We stayed All Inclusive in a Level Junior Suite with Ocean view, this was good as we were on 6th floor, and we noticed looking down that many lower rooms were extremely overlooked, we would hate this as some balconies are even on the pathways as you pass by. We had a nice big terrace with 2 chairs, but would have been nicer to have sun loungers, plenty room for them. I’m not sure what great advantage the Level gives…although great to have the Lounge with self service snacks and drinks, and peaceful to sit in the swing chair and listen to the waterfall or the musicians. Didn’t enjoy the Level breakfast experience, far too slow, waited 50 minutes for order, gave up after 2 days and used main buffet restaurant, better choice and faster! Food in general was fine, nice salad bar too, though the food could be labelled better. Another point is the Level pool, not such a nice outlook as the main pool on the bottom floor, and passed by by people on way to restaurant. Didn’t seem private or particularly “special”. The bathroom was very nice with 2 sinks which was great, and good to have the lovely smelling soaps and lotions. The cleaners do a good job, and also nice to have turn down lady with chocolate and water, and will supply a change of towel if requested. There were previous comments about the Melia Circle people being pushy, we weren’t bothered at all by them, perhaps some of the comments were taken on board? All in all we had a lovely week, a well needed break.
