Sol Caribe Beach

It has been our favorite hotel for several years now, the staff that works there are generally very attentive, the facilities are in optimal condition, it is a very clean hotel with very cozy conditions, for a family vacation for us it is the Better not the only hotel in Varaddero right now

I've been traveling around Cuba for three months, and unfortunately, this has been the most disappointing food experience of my trip. Despite the resort's boast of seven restaurants, the quality is severely lacking. I've had four meals across three of them, and the food has consistently been inedible—either completely flavorless, tasting like chemicals, or seemingly cooked well in advance. Additionally, most of the food, both in the restaurants and at the buffet, is barely warm despite having "just come out". The drinks also leave much to be desired. While I understand it's an all-inclusive and also the challenges posed by shortages, the issues here seem more related to quality than availability. It's disheartening because the resort itself is stunning, and I was truly looking forward to my stay based on other reviews. Unfortunately, the dining experience has been a significant letdown.

Great location, great beach and sea. Very good resort for an excellent price. Food is average. I would love to get very basic food but of high quality (pasta, rice or potato). In terms of protein, I’m fine with chicken if it is a chicken breast or fish of high quality. I think better food can attract a lot of people from over locations in Caribbean Sea.

A nice hotel to spend your last days on Cuba. The overall facilities are great, perfect location. Friendly staff. The Junior suite is fantastic! Clean and big. The food in the hotel is average and often not warm enough. The hotel has a lot of facilities but you need to know about them. The staff of the reception desk is not explaining them to you on arrival and in the rooms is no infobook. The staff of the local travel agencies who were selling excursions in the hotel lobby, have no idea what they are selling!!! They have not done the excursions themselves. Information is not adequate. We recommend the coffee corner in the lobby. Great coffee and very friendly staff!

We fly to Varadero on Nov 17th. Does the Sol Caribe have phone coverage, wifi and hydro? Are there any food shortages at the resort? Any information would be appreciated. The resort didn't answer my email. I'm hoping someone is there now and can answer my question.
