Whenever I am in Mauritius ,I make sure that I allowed few nights to spent at the Hilton resort and spa in Flic en Flac Every body make you feel at home , they are always smiling and it became contagious The Tuesday get together happy hour when you make friends with the guest staying at the resort and it definitely enrich my knowledge conversing with them The host from the buffet to the spa are willing to help and make sure your need are met The chef always make sure that you are satisfied with their service

Best Holiday we ever had. Stuff is super nice. I specialy have to mention bawish from the thai restaurant and his wife bavisha. Super nice guys. From the bar who always made us loughe saanvi, gael, dylan and last but not least of course damian. From the service at the beach kuldeep. As the managers abin and of course james who we alwys saw running when ever we needed something. Thanks guys you all made our stay unforgettable and we will surely come back!!

Good day ! It was a great pleasure to spend time and celebrate birthday and year end at Hilton Hotel Special thanks to Ms. .Anastasia who offered a great service, and was helpful . Her timely response and guidance , arrangements helped us to proceed with the hotle booking for 8 people! :) Family Dinner Awesome team ! We stayed at Hilton Mauritius 29th December till 4th January 2025 and The beachfront room offered Ocean and Sunset Views. The room was clean and The staff greet us well with warmth. Dining was delight. The pool area and lush gardens providing a serene atmosphere to unwind. The resort also offered activities including water sports etc. Thanks to the concierge team for organizing excursions to explore the local area. This was pleasant holiday and special thanks to Mr Linley Marjolin !!

As an amateur anthropologist of hospitality, I recently embarked on a culinary expedition at Ginger Thai, Hilton Mauritius. My entry into this exclusive oasis was made possible by Linley Marjolin, a former colleague who I now consider a true friend. Linley’s deft maneuvering secured us a table during a time when high-class hotels were treating non-residents like an endangered species. Other establishments had greeted my booking attempts with polite but firm refusals, citing reasons like, *“Nous vous informons qu'en raison du respect de la vie privée de nos hôtes, nous ne pouvons malheureusement pas honorer votre demande de réservation et nous nous en excusons sincèrement.”* Translation: “You’re not on the guest list, and no, we don’t make exceptions.” Thanks to Linley, however, our experience at Ginger Thai was nothing short of anthropologically fascinating. Upon arrival, we were greeted as though we had just stepped off a red carpet (or perhaps an elephant, given the Thai theme). The waitress, radiating charm, escorted us to our table with elegance. Her precision and grace could rival that of a seasoned diplomat at a state dinner. The food? An absolute triumph! Each dish was a masterpiece that would make even the most seasoned culinary anthropologist swoon. The flavors were so vibrant they practically introduced themselves at the table. A special mention goes to the wine moment: the waitress, though new (just a month into her journey of mastering the rituals of fine dining), handled the bottle-opening ceremony with determination, aided by a fellow waiter. It was a charming display of teamwork and learning in action—an important milestone in the rites of passage within the hospitality tribe. In my professional opinion as a self-proclaimed hospitality anthropologist, Ginger Thai stands as a shining beacon among the island’s high-class restaurants. Where others offer high prices, low service, and food quality that inspires more regret than delight, Ginger Thai delivers an experience that is truly exceptional. A hearty *kob khun ka* (thank you) to the team for a delightful evening and a standing ovation to Linley for orchestrating the entire adventure. If you’re looking for a place where gastronomy meets heartfelt service, this is the spot.
